Our emotions have no sense of time, the past, present and future are all happening at once.

Our Subconscious:

It's one job is to protect us, to sense danger.

It communicates with emotions, calm = safe and,  anxiety = danger.

It's saying "This feels familiar, and last time it happened you were in danger.

Take the veteran, re-living the horrendous images of war, its the subconscious saying,

Hey- I will keep on showing you this to make sure you will never go back there.

KNOW THIS

It is once we understand that we can heal.

As children, the worlds weaknesses, fears, and experiences transferred to us, some became ours, echoing in our minds. Reminders that are meant to protect us, but instead limit us from reaching our true potential.

Anxiety & Healing
Anxiety
Anxiety often comes from past emotions that weren’t fully processed. When something in the present triggers those old emotions, we feel uneasy or overwhelmed, even if nothing is wrong in the moment.
Healing Tip: Remember that the anxiety you are experiencing is not from the present but from the past. Remember its your mind trying to protetct you.
Fear
Fear is often what holds us back from becoming who we really are. Ask yourself: What would I do if I wasn’t afraid? The answer often points to your true self.
Healing Tip: Close your eyes and imagine what your life would look like if you were not afraid. What would you do? who would you be with? What would you work with? Know that what you are seeing is the life you are meant to live.
Trauma
Trauma makes us live on high alert. Even long after the danger has passed, our mind and body stay ready to protect us. This constant readiness can fuel anxiety.
Healing Tip: When we have been through trauma, it echos in our whole body. Anything can trigger it, a smell, something we see, a word and a memory. I want you to remember that what happened then, is no longer, Your mind keeps on reminding you - to keep you safe.
Bullying
Being bullied makes us doubt our worth and feel unsafe in social situations. Those memories can lead to anxiety in new situations, especially where we might be judged.
Healing Tip: Bullying is often overlooked but there are real and long term conscequences for those who were traumatised. Know this: The person that bullied you did so in fear of being bullied. They prey on others because they are extremely scared.
Social Anxiety
Social anxiety happens when we fear being rejected, judged, or misunderstood. It often begins from moments where we felt embarrassed or unaccepted in the past.
Healing Tip: Social anxiety is extremely difficult but it is a wonderful opportunity to re-build oursleves and to regain the confidence that was taken from us. Remember it is all about how we feel inside. Try this: Before you go out, repeat "I am loved everywheer I go" Say it over and over again. You will see miracles happen.

The brain, gut connection is real.

What we eat will affect the way we feel mentally.

There is no doubt.

But sometimes, it comes in unexpected ways.

Heartburn, gastritis, constipation, all affect our mood.

And even the healthiest eater may be eating the wrong food.

TRY THIS:

For 1 week avoid:

 - Dairy

 - Citrus fruits (oranges, lemons, mandarins).

 - All fruits but water melon and banana.

- Avoid tomatoes & vinegar

 - Switch chocolate, cakes and backed goods with whole wheat.

 - Try to limit if not stop coffee and tea.

Social Anxiety

Healing Tip: It works.

Understanding:
The anxiety comes from what others have said or done. It has nothing to do with you.

Healing Tip:
Every time you start feeling anxious, repeat these words:
I am Loved everywhere I Go. People are Always Kind to Me.
These words are like magic, repeat them over and over again.

Why this works:
Our mind has no sense of time, past, present, and future all happen at once.
By repeating these words, you are telling your mind, I am here in the NOW and I am safe.

The shift happens almost instantly, you will start to feel better, gain confidence.

Take a moment and ask yourself

What would I do If I was not Afraid?

It’s a powerful question.
Because when we stop and really think about it…
a whole new world opens up.
✨ A world full of possibilities! ✨
Fear wants to protect us —
but it’s often stuck in the past.
A past that’s no longer here.
And often, we can still hear its whispers:
“Stay safe.”
“Don’t risk it.”
“What if you fail?”
But... what would we do if we weren’t afraid?
Maybe we would follow a dream.
Maybe we would speak our truth.
Maybe… we would fall in love.
So close your eyes…
and ask gently:
What would I do if I wasn’t afraid?

My mother was a narcissist.

Even now, just saying that makes my chest tighten.

I grew up never knowing which version of her I would get — the kind one or the cruel one. I walked on eggshells every day, anxious and afraid. I lost my sense of truth. I doubted myself constantly. I didn’t know how to love, or be loved.

For years, I carried so much shame and guilt, as if everything was my fault. I thought I was the problem. But I wasn’t. I was just a child trying to survive.

It took me until the age of 35 to finally start putting the pieces together. Now, at 45, I’ve gone back to school and hold a Certificate in Global Mental Health: Trauma and Recovery from Harvard University.

If you’re going through this, my heart is with you. But know that healing is possible. And that when we finally let go... a life beyond our wildest dreams opens up. You are not broken. You are not alone. You are stronger than you think.

Your truth, your beauty, and your kindness — are ready to shine. They always were.

With love,
Alexandra
